Ed Cholfin is an incredible project manager.  He provided a comprehensive proposal with up-front costs and he paid attention to every detail of our project.  What started as installation of hard woods turned into a whole home renovation.  In addition to modernizing our bedrooms, living room, sitting room and kitchen, AK renovated two bathrooms and made them state of the art.  Ed kept me updated on the timeline for our project and he was hands on every step of the way.  He has extensive experience in renovations, and he has a great eye for design.

In explaining what we would like to accomplish, AK set about designing and implementing what would be the most feasible design from both a use and economics perspective, working closely with us on all details and colors. We especially liked that AK became our construction manager and handled the complete job, including electrical, countertops, flooring, paint and clean-up. The result is a stunning turn around from the dark and gloomy inefficient kitchen we originally had. Wow…what an amazing project! Completed with AK’s advice, guidance and expertise from 2,500 miles away! Ed Cholfin and his crew completely remodeled our kitchen in Woodstock, all the way back to the walls, while we were still living in California. They replaced all the appliances, plumbing and cabinets, and installed all new lighting. Ed and his guys built a new island with an enormous granite countertop and gas cook top, and routed its new downdraft ventilation system under the kitchen floor! The project was completed without a problem and on time!  How often does that happen?
